1 Timothy 1:15-16

Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his unlimited patience as an example for those who would believe on him and receive eternal life.

The paradox of sin is this:
It kills and damns our souls.
Yet once in Christ--the debt erased--
God works it for his Fold.

Wes, I like it a lot. Seems like God's redemption of sin, His transposition of it to serve Him, has come up a lot recently. It is a glorious thought.

How did you mean "fold"? The sheep fold, that He works it for us? Or for His manifold expression of His glory?

Or something else?

I meant THE Fold...the Body. But 'Fold' rhymes better than 'Body'.

That's what I thought. Nice capital on the improper noun there - "Fold" - very LewisWrighty.
